It’s been a while so I thought I should update you on what’s been happening. Why so long with out a show?I am currently doing my final exams at university so am having to take some time away from the mic to revise. Never fear my weekly Junction11 breakfast show will be back on Monday 28th May for final 5 shows before I leave university ands graduate. My reign of terror on student radio is almost over! We intend to go out in style. POST talk show. Where are all the Podcasts?You might have noticed that all the the podcasts on iTunes and on this site have vanished and cannot be downloaded. For some unexplained reason Mevio, the site I was using to host the podcast, has for no apparent reason deleted them all. They are also not responding to my requests for support. I aim to resolve this problem sometime in the summer. We have big plans that may include a brand new website at some point. Pilot talk showAs an experiment over the Easter period I decided to try doing a live 60 min solo talk show on 1Radio. Part of the reason for doing this was to experiment with various ideas I am having concerning the possibility of doing a regular show, after I graduate. I would be really grateful for your feedback. | Rhodders: Junction11 Show 46 Christmas special 2011 It’s a Christmas special ho ho ho etc! This show is a bulging Santa’s sack full of silliness and surreal humour. The perfect way to end 2011 We talk about the worst Christmas presents ever. From psychopathic Elmos to incontinent dolls to fairies on polls, some of them are unbelievable! We find out what happened when Rhodders and Siobhan 2.0 caused mass confusion by swapping profile pictures on twitter. We find the perfect sport for Bozos, planking! We have fun with some dreadful cracker jokes.   Rhodders: Junction11 Show 42 On this weeks show we have an interview with the fantastic comedian John Robins. To see the video form the interview ( including Rhodders’ terrible handshake) head to the bonus section of the site. We also discover the world has truly lost it! From people getting stuck in McDonald’s drawer dispensers to a casserole being reunited with its owner, it’s all here on the Rhodcast. We open our lost property department and ask the listeners what they have lost recently and if they found it whether it turned up in a strange place. Rhodders: Junction11 Show 41 A busy show as usual. We asked the listeners what words they would like to see taken out of circulation and which ones should be used more. Judging by the responses we can only assume that the vast majority of our audience come from Victorian England! Rhodders and producer Sarah break radio boundaries (well sort of!). We chat to Parisien and politics student Anna Kessler about: studying abroad, what the English are like and phrases she didn’t learn English lessons!
